As of this Friday, July 4, 2015, Jean-François Barbance’s former studio, closed since 1994, is coming back to life for an exhibition, “La Porte.”which features six artists until Sunday. Since yesterday evening, around a hundred visitors have already pushed open the heavy wooden door next to the Maison des Sires de Domecy, in Avallon, and discovered the work of Avallonnais François Barbance and Romain Capiau (bookbinding), Olivier Vernet (stone-cutting), Benjamin Degreve (photography), Simon Lechat (music) and Delphine Gobry (drawing).
